We work with many of the world’s leading brands in the fields of audio, architectural and stage lighting, video, stage mechanization and audience seating. Building on that wealth of knowledge and experience, we can advise you on the most innovative system if you represent a rent company or help you put together the system that is most appropriate for your space if you are in charge of a venue.
Where the entertainment space is reconstructed rather than created afresh we usually begin by conducting an audit of the existing technologies in situ. Through this process we can then assess what can potentially be built on and what should be updated, and how to best optimise the current set-up.
The purpose of the training is to share best practices, current affairs of the market and educate students, with the help of highly skilled specialists in a specific field.
We periodically organize training sessions in the fields of lighting and audio system management. These are designed for technical bar employees of cultural institutions and event service companies, as well as freelance sound and lighting engineers, and event engineering major students at Vilnius Tech University.
Attendees can expect practical, relevant seminars, with leading practitioners in a range of specialisms lending their experience and knowledge of current technologies. Contact us for details of upcoming sessions.
Even the most up-to-date installation requires periodic servicing and software updates to ensure that the system and equipment continue to operate flawlessly.
We know that our clients and their inhouse technical teams may not always have the time or the expertise to handle these tasks, which is why Sonus also offers a comprehensive equipment maintenance service.
Successful integration is fundamental to what we do. Raising the technological capabilities of cultural institutions in turn fosters artistic creativity and audience satisfaction.
Our integration team is made up of constructive, energetic professionals with many years of experience between them when it comes to system installations, tuning and user training. We are more than happy to provide reviews of our integration services from many previous clients.
We put a great deal of time, effort and thought into the design process of every project we take on. Not only because we always have one eye on the end result, but also because it’s during the design process that so many great new ideas are born.
Using innovative design platforms such as BIM and other 3D modelling programs we create unique layouts and entertainment spaces that are compatible with interior design, engineering and structural systems.
Key to any successful design is understanding and discussing the needs and concerns of our clients, as well as staying abreast of current best industry practices, and taking into account the changing expectations of contemporary audiences.
Our ultimate aim is to harness the latest technologies and the capabilities of our expert technicians to help artists take their work to the next level.
The new technologies will help expand the spectrum of different types of events including theatre plays and will help attract world-famous performers who place high demands on stage lighting. Wireless battery-powered lights will allow for comfortable illumination and subtle emphasis of architectural elements – such as columns, stairs, window border details. The system is easily controlled by a tablet computer.
The structural and architectural solutions of the hall did not allow the use of traditional methods of hanging lighting fixtures therefore for the placement of lighting fixtures specially designed lighting bridges were designed and produced reflecting the arched beams of the roof structure. Such a structurally complex solution allowed for the proper and accurate placement of lighting devices, concealed electrical and signal lines which blended into the interior of the building in a subtle way.
Technology used:
Upper and lower stage mechanization systems:
Design and installation of 6 lighting bridges, 27 decoration lifts, 6 mobile point lifts, a stage lifting platform and a stage wheel. Entire mechanization system is controlled from the lifting mechanics control panel which allows for creation of various lifting scenarios necessary for theatre’s productions. Stage gantry towers and a multi-storey gantry bridge newly installed.
Lighting system:
Stage technology equipment electric and signal lines as well as controlled (dimeric) lighting lines installed. As many as 480 connection points for various electrical and control signals installed which required about 25 kilometres of cable in the stage space alone. New lighting devices with LED light source integrated for artistic stage lighting. Lighting control system updated.
Video system:
Video signal lines newly installed. New video projectors installed which can be adapted to a wide range of video broadcasting needs and can be used as mobile devices. Public spaces and outdoor video information system newly integrated.
